Overview

Founded in 1967, ImageFIRST is the largest and only national linen rental and laundry service specializing in the healthcare market. Acquired by private equity firm Calera Capital in 2018, ImageFIRST serves medical facilities nationwide providing linen, patient gowns, scrubs, and more while managing their clients’ linen inventory for cost management. As leaders in infection prevention, they currently own and operate the most HLAC-accredited facilities in the industry. Responsibilities & Qualifications

The Human Resources Director oversees HR functions and directs HR Generalists and activities across multiple plant/off-site locations in the Northeast region. They are responsible for the ongoing effectiveness and productivity of HR administrative functions such as compliance, benefits administration, and reporting. Their focus is on associate engagement (Be Remarkable), talent acquisition/management, performance management, and associate relations. This role supports both associates and management, ensuring effective deployment and support of ImageFIRST values, work environment initiatives, HR programs, practices, and operations.

Responsibilities:
  1. Prioritize Safety: Demonstrate care for associates and their safety on and off the job.
  2. Engage Associates: Coach/advise RVPs, GMs, and HRGs in owning the Be Remarkable initiative. Drive a coaching culture and leadership in “The ImageFIRST Way”.
  3. Recruit, On-Board, and Orient Associates: Ensure effective deployment of recruiting processes and provide engaging onboarding for all associates.
  4. Achieve Leadership Effectiveness in Coaching for Performance and Development (CPD): Deploy CPD training and coach leaders to integrate CPD skills. HRMs own regional leadership development; this measures HRM effectiveness.
  5. Operational Excellence: Ensure compliance with HR processes, policies, investigations, and safety training requirements.
  6. Travel: 50% travel, every other week within the Northeast region.
Minimum Qualifications:
  1. Minimum of 8 years' experience overseeing Human Resources
  2. Bachelor’s Degree
  3. Strong communication skills (oral and written)
  4. Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and HRIS software
  5. Strong organizational and time-management skills
  6. Ability to manage sensitive information confidentially
  7. Bilingual in Spanish preferred
  8. Analytical problem-solving skills
  9. Leadership experience (local and remote)
  10. Basic knowledge of HR compliance, labor/employee relations
