Boscov’s Human Resources Coordinator

Job Responsibilities
  1. Assist with managing the functions of the Human Resources Office under the guidance and direction of the HR Manager.
  2. Recruitment: Participate in reviewing resumes/applications, completing initial candidate screenings, and scheduling interviews. Assist with onboarding new hires.
  3. Benefits Administration: Follow up with new hires to collect benefits paperwork and submit to the Corporate office for processing.
  4. Timekeeping System: Enter schedules into the timekeeping system, maintain and approve timecards for weekly payroll, and produce reports for Store Management to ensure payroll adherence.
  5. Coworker Support: Handle coworker questions/concerns for resolution by the HR Manager. Coordinate schedules for coworkers to meet with HR, via phone, onsite, or virtually.
Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Prior retail experience preferred.
  • 2 to 4 years of Human Resources Coordinator or similar experience preferred.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to learn HR computer systems and other store systems.
  • Schedule: 28 hours per week, including weekends.
