We are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team!

Hospital Details

Vibra Hospital of SE Michigan - Taylor Campus, located in Taylor, MI, is a 40-bed Critical Care Hospital providing acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Our patients often require additional critical care services for complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you can truly get to know your patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  1. Assist with Human Resources file maintenance, including filing all HR documentation.
  2. Support tracking of regulatory requirements such as licensure and certifications.
  3. Provide administrative support to the HR department on personnel matters.
  4. Assist with payroll processing, onboarding, orientation, benefits, and performance management.
  5. Support HR Director/Manager/Generalist with special projects and responsibilities.
Required Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in human resources/payroll processing.
Additional Qualifications/Skills
  • Associate’s Degree preferred.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Experience with benefit processing and reporting preferred.
  • Experience in a hospital setting working with confidential records and customer service preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of HR practices, telephone etiquette, and office equipment.
  • Discretion, good judgment, and commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Flexibility and responsiveness to organizational needs.
  • Professional image and regulatory compliance knowledge.
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when needed.
  • Proficiency with computer applications relevant to the role.
  • Drug and alcohol free workplace.
