Grower Direct Farms inc. is hiring a Human Resources Coordinator to support high-volume recruiting, onboarding, and HR operations for our greenhouse and field-based workforce.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role responsible for getting employees hired quickly, onboarded correctly, and supported throughout their employment. You will work directly for the Head of Human Resources and play a key role in maintaining efficient HR processes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HR coordination, recruiting, or onboarding
• Current experience using ADP Workforce Now (or similar HRIS/payroll system)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Post jobs, screen applicants, and coordinate interviews
• Conduct new hire onboarding and orientation
• Prepare and process new hire documentation and personnel files
• Ensure compliance with I-9 and onboarding requirements
• Maintain accurate employee records in ADP Workforce Now
• Answer employee and supervisor HR questions (policies, benefits, payroll support)
• Assist with employee offboarding and termination processes
• Lead safety-related administrative functions
• Assist payroll processing and coordination as needed
• Support office operations during peak periods (phones, visitors, general admin tasks)

• Serve as primary contact for injury reporting and tracking
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements

Administrative Support

• Assist payroll processing and coordination as needed
• Support office operations during peak periods (phones, visitors, general admin tasks)

Qualifications

Required

• 2+ years of experience in HR coordination, recruiting, or onboarding
• Currentexperience using ADP Workforce Now (or similar HRIS/payroll system)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred

• Experience supporting hourly, seasonal, or high-volume workforces
• Background in agriculture, manufacturing, distribution, or field operations
• Experience with training, onboarding programs, or safety initiatives
