Job summary

Eduro Healthcare, LLC is seeking an energetic HR and Payroll Manager to lead the facility's HR and payroll operations. The role requires ensuring compliant, accurate payroll processing and comprehensive HR policy administration across a diverse workforce.

You will oversee recruitment, benefits administration, training, and employee relations while maintaining accurate records and reporting. A bachelor’s in HR/payroll and SHRM-CP/PHR are preferred. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or payroll field.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws and payroll processing.
  • Experience with PayCom cloud-based HCM software.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and administers HR and payroll plans and procedures for all personnel.
  • Updates the compensation program and job descriptions annually.
  • Maintains benefits administration and affirmative action program.
  • Oversees end-to-end recruitment: postings, screening, interviews, offers, onboarding, and employee relations.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Keeps payroll records and timekeeping systems accurate; PBJ and OSHA logs.
  • Trains employees and managers on time submission and leave requests.
  • Maintains department records and reports.

Big Horn Rehabilitation and Care Center is looking for an energetic and dynamic individual to head up our Human Resources and Payroll department. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, able to take over all aspects of the Human Resources department with minimal oversight and be able to work with a multi-faceted team and a diverse workforce.

SUMMARY

The HR and Payroll Manager is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of the human resources and payroll functions within the facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following:

Adherence to Policies Must show courtesy and respect to other employees, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, the general public, etc. Abide by Eduro HealthCare’s drug and alcohol policy. Maintain good personal hygiene and dress and groom appropriately. Report on time as scheduled and follow all company policies and procedures. Attend staff meetings and in-service sessions. Become thoroughly familiar with emergency procedures. Must be able to perform duties in a timely fashion, and within the prescribed sequences and schedules. Must be cooperative with other departments and be courteous and respectful in dealing with them at all times. Participate in and respond professionally to surveys (inspections) conducted by government agencies.

HR and Payroll Manager Duties include
  • Develops and administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel.
  • Implements and annually updates the compensation program, rewrites job descriptions, as necessary.
  • Develops, recommends, and implements personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains handbook on policies and procedures; assists with benefits administration.
  • Develops and maintains affirmative action program; files EEO-1 annually; maintains other records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
  • End to end recruitment effort for all exempt, nonexempt and temporary workers; write and places advertisements; works with supervisors to screen and interview candidates; conducts pre-employment checks (background, references, drug test, etc.); extends job offers; conducts new-employee onboarding and orientations; assists with career-path program and employee relations counseling; conducts exit interviews
  • Establishes and maintains department records and reports. Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings, such as seminars. Maintains organizational charts and employee directory
  • Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Keeps accurate payroll records and ensures compliance
  • Oversees time clock records and ensures employees and managers are correctly inputting time and making corrections as necessary
  • Runs daily punch exception reports for managers and employees
  • Training of employees and managers on how to accurately submit and correct their worked hours and submit for vacation and sick time
  • Responsible for accurate employee entry into HRIS and timekeeping systems
  • Processes payroll efficiently, timely and according to all applicable federal, state, and local laws
  • Keeps accurate records for PBJ and OSHA logs and ensures compliance.

Education and Experience
