Job summary

TekStream Solutions is seeking an HR Operations professional in Reston, VA for a hybrid role requiring a minimum of three days on site. You will handle Employee Services, data input, and Employment Administration while resolving policy and payroll inquiries.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in HR operations or a Bachelor’s degree plus one year, with strong attention to detail and customer service mindset. This position supports process improvements and reporting.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of HR operations experience or a Bachelor's degree + 1 year experience.
• Experience handling employee data input and employment administration.
• Strong customer service mindset when addressing policy inquiries and payroll questions.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of HR operations activities across Employee Services, Data Input, and Employment Administration.
• Interacts with employees to answer and resolve inquiries on HR policies, benefits, payroll, and travel.
• Assists in data audits, record keeping, and reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Processes SAP transactions, employee transactions, and compensation actions.
• Supports process improvement initiatives to drive operational efficiencies.

Hybrid schedule – minimum of 3 days per week onsite in Reston, VA

Core responsibilities:

• Performs a variety of human resources operations activities in one or several of these areas:


• Employee Services


• Employee Data Input


• Employment Administration


• Interacts with employees to answer and resolve their inquiries/issues on HR policies, benefit, international travel, health, life, disability, retirement, domestic and international payroll and others


• Assists in administrative tasks as needed such as data audits, record keeping, reporting, etc.


• Monitors progress of existing human resource programs or procedures to ensure desired objectives and\/or results are being achieved


• Collects and assembles data or information for personnel reports


• Assists in process improvement opportunities to drive operational efficiencies


• Processes SAP transactions, employee transactions, and compensation actions

Education and Experience Requirements:

2-4 years of experience OR a Bachelors degree + 1 year of experience
