Human Resources & Staffing Coordinator

Location: Phoenix, AZ (85083)

Employment Type: Temp to Hire

Compensation: $30-40/hr

Schedule: M-F onsite, 40 hours per week

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Human Resources & Staffing Coordinator to provide essential support for our talent acquisition and broader HR operations. This role is critical in ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for candidates and contributes to the overall success of our staffing initiatives, with a special focus on supporting our university relations and campus recruitment pipelines. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational and communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong work ethic.

This is a temporary contract position with the potential for conversion to a permanent role, requiring a full-time, on-site presence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition Support: Support the end-to-end talent acquisition lifecycle, from candidate engagement to onboarding, ensuring a positive experience for all applicants.
  • Campus Recruiting & Administrative Support: Provide dedicated logistical and administrative coordination for campus recruitment cycles. This includes scheduling university interview days, coordinating virtual and on-campus career fairs, managing event shipping/collateral, and tracking campus candidate pipelines.
  • Campus Resume Parsing & Management: Lead the high-volume review, parsing, and screening of resumes collected from campus career fairs, university job boards (e.g., Handshake), and applicant tracking systems. Ensure accurate and timely data entry and categorization of campus talent.
  • Data & System Integrity: Manage and maintain critical HR and recruitment data, utilizing various systems (HRIS/ATS) to track candidate information, support reporting, and ensure absolute data integrity.
  • Onboarding & Compliance: Coordinate administrative processes related to employment, including pre-hire background checks, offer letter management, and new hire documentation. Ensure strict compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant employment laws.
  • Operational Assistance: Contribute to the overall operational efficiency of HR programs and initiatives, assisting with data management and process adherence.
  • Team Collaboration: Act as a key administrative support resource for the Talent Acquisition and Human Resources departments, handling general inquiries and staffing-related administrative needs.

  • Experience with campus-specific recruiting platforms (e.g., Handshake, Simplicity) and automated resume parsing tools.
  • Familiarity with federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to employment practices.
  • Previous experience within a global technology firm, electronics manufacturing, or a similar global operational environment.
