Supports employee recruiting by generating pool postings, closing job searches, tracking pre-employment requirements, sending standard candidate communications and responding to routine questions about the College’s applicant tracking system (ATS), job postings and application process. Coordinates preboarding, orientation and onboarding activities by sending and tracking new-hire documents, communicating next steps, arranging orientation logistics, providing both pre-orientation and post-orientation support and conducting routine onboarding check-ins through the first 90 days of employment. Oversees I-9 verifications for new employees, including scheduling and tracking off-site verifications as needed, completing E-Verify entries and maintaining, auditing and purging I-9 records in accordance with federal guidelines and system retention schedules. Processes employee lifecycle transactions in the College’s HRIS system in accordance with department procedures, including assigning employee ID numbers, creating new employee profiles and updating records with status changes and separations as appropriate. Organizes the annual temporary and faculty contract renewal process. Identifies practical opportunities to improve routine communications and administrative workflows. Supports HR projects and initiatives. Maintains physical and electronic personnel files, HR forms, templates, checklists, communication tools, and other records in accordance with established confidentiality, retention and purge requirements. Performs job duties from the assigned campus or work location. Performs other duties as assigned.
