Job summary

Heartspring is seeking an HR Coordinator in Wichita, KS, to support talent acquisition, enhance employee engagement, and maintain HR compliance. What You'll Do:

Talent Sourcing & Acquisition (Possibility):
Find and connect great people to great opportunities. You’ll manage pre-employment workflows, optimize our applicant tracking systems, and ensure accuracy and compliance from application to on-boarding.

Employee Relations & Engagement (Celebration):
Create moments that matter. You’ll help plan staff engagement activities, respond to employee questions, and foster a workplace culture that celebrates contribution and community.

Compensation & Benefits (Excellence):
Be a trusted resource. You’ll help track and administer benefit programs, process invoices, and guide employees through their benefits with care and accuracy.

Compliance & Risk Management (Leadership):
Keep us ready and resilient. You’ll support audits, maintain accurate records, and help our team make data-informed HR decisions.

Requirements:

What Makes You a Strong Candidate:

  • You're detail-obsessed and great at juggling multiple priorities.
  • You know (or can quickly learn) your way around HR systems and tools.
  • You thrive in team environments and build trust through communication.
  • You understand HR basics—recruiting, compliance, benefits—and want to grow in the field.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
  • HRCI or SHRM certification preferred or the drive to earn it within your first year.
  • At least 2 years of HR experience, including recruitment, benefits, and compliance.
  • Experience with HRIS, FMLA, worker’s compensation, and insurance administration is a plus.
