Job summary

RiseMe is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator in Joshua Tree, CA, with standard business hours Monday–Friday. The role supports HR operations, data entry, policy interpretation, and employee services within the Morongo Oasis Crisis Residential Treatment division.

Ideal candidates bring MS Office and HRIS experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects. Travel within the region may be required; local drivers license is needed.

• Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required
• HRIS experience preferred
• Knowledge of the Mental Health field desirable

Responsibilities

• Provide wide range of HR services to management and staff
• Liaise with HR shared services teams and interpret HR policy/procedure
• Compile sensitive data/statistics and prepare reports
• Maintain personnel and HR documents in the HRIS
• Assist with benefits and workers’ compensation as needed
• Support positive work environment to reduce legal risks
• Travel within the region as required

What you bring to SBHG

Education & Licensure

• High school graduate or equivalent plus two (2) years of experience working in human resources or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Valid California Driver's License

Experience

How you will make a difference

Under general supervision of the Regional HR Manager, the HR Coordinator performs a wide variety of human resources tasks and provides general HR services to management and staff. This includes handling the day-to-day functions in human resources including acting as a liaison with the HR shared services teams, providing HR policy/procedure interpretation and guidance, compiling sensitive data/statistics and preparing reports, maintaining personnel and other HR department documents and files, and entering and maintaining accurate data in the HRIS. This position may also assist with benefits, workers’ compensation and HR training as needed. The HR Coordinator is responsible for supporting the development of a positive working environment to enhance HR success and reduce legal risks. Handling extensive personal and confidential information is an essential job function of this position. Travel within the region will be required.

Region Program Overview

• The region supports approximately 350 employees that provide inpatient and outpatient mental/behavioral health services within Riverside and San Bernardino counties.
  • The Crisis Residential Treatment (CRT) offer recovery-based treatment options, services and interventions in a home-like setting. Services are provided 24 hours a day and 365 days a year and include assessment, physical and psychological evaluation, mental health and case management services. Helping adults safely and successfully transition back to community living after a period of psychiatric crisis and recovery.
  • The Crisis Walk-In Center (CWIC) provides urgent mental health services 24/7 to serve individuals experiencing a crisis in their lives. All age groups – children, adolescents, adults, and older adults – who need immediate access to crisis mental health services.
