We're seeking a hybrid Human Resources Coordinator to join our team in Elk Grove, CA!
Please note this role is a contract position running approximately through September 2025.

- Onboarding Expertise: Responsible for assisting managers with HR policies and practices, and helping coordinate the onboarding process for new hires.
- New Hire Support: Respond to new hire inquiries regarding employment policies, benefits, and other HR-related concerns.
- Database Management: Maintain and manage employee records, ensuring all HR documents (such as I-9 forms, background check results, proof of education, etc.) are properly filed to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Coordination: Oversee the onboarding process, including generating offer letters, ensuring all pre-employment checks are completed, and managing new hire data entry in the ATS and HRIS systems.
- Communication: Regularly update hiring managers on the status of new hires, ensuring smooth coordination throughout the hiring and onboarding process.
- Collaboration: Partner with the Recruiting and Learning & Development team to ensure all new hires are ready to be hired and that mandatory trainings are completed.
- Data Reporting: Provide weekly data on recruiting and onboarding processes.
- Administrative Duties: Assist in managing multiple HR-related projects and tasks simultaneously while maintaining deadlines, handling sensitive information with accuracy, discretion, and confidentiality to ensure smooth HR operations.
Human Resources Coordinator Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of administrative experience, including exposure to human resources and recruitment processes.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Certification: HRCI or SHRM certifications preferred.
- Familiarity with Advanced Degrees: Preferred understanding of advanced degree requirements for high-level roles in healthcare and/or education industries.
- Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and comfortable using new office tools and technology.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities with exceptional time management skills, able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Physical Activity: This role involves extended periods of sitting and viewing computer screens. There will be frequent standing during job fairs and conferences. The ability to lift up to 50 lbs., with or without accommodation, is also required.
