Job summary

Harmony Utica Ridge is seeking a Human Resources Director in Davenport, IA to lead the HR function for a Skilled Nursing facility. You will oversee payroll, onboarding, and employee engagement while partnering with managers to maintain high standards of resident care and an engaged workforce.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in HR, 5+ years in HR leadership in healthcare, and PHR/SPHR certification preferred, with a strong commitment to equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• As a minimum, a bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or similar field and two (2) years of experience in a H.R. role, preferably in a health care setting.
• Five (5) years of prior Human Resources Director experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting and PHR or SPHR certification is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the Human Resources department and personnel matters.
• Process facility payroll, onboarding new hires, and maintain positive employee engagement.
• Partner with department managers to uphold high standards of resident care and workplace culture.

As a Human Resources Director you are instrumental in shaping the culture of the facility. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Harmony Utica Ridge by overseeing all aspects of the Human Resources department, assisting department managers with all aspects of personnel matters, processing facility payroll, pre-screening and on-boarding all facility new hires and maintaining positive employee engagement. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.
