Home Care Providers of Texas is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support the corporate HR department across Texas, New Mexico and Indiana. The role is on-site in the DFW area, handling personnel files, background checks, data entry, employee verifications, onboarding and orientation, and HR project support.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree, solid MS Office skills, and prior office or HR experience, with strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; related field preferred.
  • Previous office experience, HR experience preferred; MS Office/e-mail required.
  • Must pass pre-employment background check; valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.

  • Assist Operations department as needed.
  • Provides assistance with HR projects as directed.
  • Provides all support to the HR department as directed by HR Management.
  • Performs other related/administrative duties as directed by Management.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:

Reports to the Human Resource Director

STATUS:

Full Time, M-F, 8-5, on site

POSITION SUMMARY:

Supports the Corporate Human Resources Department for all New Day Healthcare companies in Texas, New Mexico and Indiana. The position is based at Home Care Providers of Texas on site in DFW. Will maintain personnel files, performing background checks, data entry, verifications of employment, reference checks, filing for active and terminated employees, assist with onboarding and orientation of new employees, worker’s compensation, in house training, policy communications, mailings, training assistance and special projects as needed.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older (per state guidelines)

EDUCATION/LICENSURE:

Bachelor’s degree required.

Degree in a related field preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

Require previous office experience (prefer HR related experience) experience with Microsoft Office and e-mail required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Ability to function independently in a multi-task environment, as well as part of a team. Must exhibit a high degree of attention to detail and time management with proven ability to meet deadlines. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Can do attitude with a high focus on continuous improvement. Comfortable with communicating with all levels of management and employees. Must have strong organizational skills. Knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint preferred. Ability to communicate professionally and maintain a positive work environment.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
  • Successful candidate must pass a pre- employment criminal background check.
  • Must have valid/active Driver’s License
  • Must have proof of Auto Insurance (minimum required by law).
  • Candidate must meet the requirements of the full job description as stated throughout the duration of employment with Home Care Providers of Texas.
