Sojourn at Seneca Behavioral Hospital in Ohio seeks an HR/Payroll Specialist to manage payroll, benefits, and related HR tasks in line with company standards. The role includes data entry, payroll processing, and maintaining confidentiality across personnel files and systems.
The position requires coordinating with leadership and Shared Services, supporting weekend and overtime work, and ensuring accurate records. FMLA paperwork and background checks are handled as part of the duties.
Responsible for performing Human Resources, Payroll and Benefit functions within the facility in accordance with company standards and procedures.
Follow all applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
Minimum one (1) year of experience in payroll.
Must have computer knowledge and general knowledge of office equipment.
Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance as required.
Must be able to work weekend and overtime as required.
Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
Frequent walking, reaching, climbing, bending, lifting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing, and pulling.
Willing to work beyond normal working hours and during disastrous circumstances, as needed.
Must be capable of performing the Essential Job Functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must be able to relate positively and favorably to patients, families, and outside agencies and to work cooperatively with other associates.
Ability to remain calm under stress.
