Summary
Balfour Beatty is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team in Dallas, TX. The HR Coordinator provides high level administrative support to staff ensuring timely employment and training/development processing occurs. This individual effectively interprets and communicates Human Resource policies and procedures, with special emphasis on HR record keeping and administrative tasks.
Essential Functions
- Coordinates the employee onboarding process by working with hiring managers and new hires to ensure a smooth transition through the first day of employment.
- Provides administrative coordination for HR programs, including scheduling training, supporting vendor agreements, preparing communications and materials, reserving facilities, arranging room setup and catering, distributing surveys, compiling reports, and supporting related processes.
- Supports department budget tracking and invoice processing by compiling budget information,monitoringexpenses, coding invoices for payment, and completing expense reports accurately and on time.
- Assembles new hire welcome packets.
- Maintains employee records through soft copy filing and cloud-based storage.
- Performs administrative tasks for other HR staff: sorts/distributes department mail, makes travel arrangements, completes expense reports and other correspondence and reports, department filing,maintainsand orders department supplies, etc.
- Developsreports,presentationsand communication tools using PowerPoint.
- Coordinates campus recruiting, manages trip schedules,ordersandshipssupplies, etc.
- Manages the Intern program and events.Planning and sending invitations andworking with Interns throughout the summer.
- Entersdata (new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations, etc.) into respective trackingdatabasein a timely mannerand fulfills requests for information, reports, etc.
- Coordinates transactional activities associated with employee relocation processing including - data entry into system, answers occasional employee questions or routes exception items to management to troubleshoot, coordinates post-move surveys, processes invoices, etc.
- Coordinates employee service recognition program.
- Maintains confidentiality with sensitive or proprietary information on behalf ofdepartment,companyand executives.

- Builds effective relationships with project teams, functional departments, customers, vendors, and user groups that reflect and support company core values and meets or exceeds the customer’s expectations.

Education, Experience and Knowledge
- HS Diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree in relevant field preferred plus 2 to 4 years of HR administrative experiencerequired.
- Able to organize people, tools, equipment, and other resources and orchestrate multiple activities at once toaccomplishdesired results.
