Overview: The Human Resource Generalist supports employees and the HR Department with various administrative tasks.

Must have 3-5 years of experience in a similar HR role.

Major Activities:

  1. Support data entry and recording of employment-related records.
  2. Manage injury claims from start to finish, including reporting and medical status updates.
  3. Handle leave of absence processes from notification to employee return.
  4. Communicate empathetically with injured workers and ensure they receive necessary care.
  5. Monitor and facilitate return-to-work efforts for injured employees.
  6. Maintain employee data in HRIS systems.
  7. Ensure managers are aware of and comply with work restrictions and accommodations.
  8. Distribute mandatory workers’ compensation postings and update safety programs.
  9. Assist with insurance claims and liaise with claims adjusters.
  10. Coordinate claims review meetings and track incidents to prevent future accidents.
  11. Provide statistical reports on leaves and loss analysis.
  12. Develop policies and safety training initiatives to prevent injuries.
  13. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  14. Stay current with trends and laws in HR-related fields.
  15. Collaborate with the HR team on various initiatives.
  16. Provide excellent customer service, responding within 8 hours.
  17. Participate in meetings, training, and team events.
  18. Follow company policies, procedures, and work rules.
  19. Support the company’s vision, mission, and goals.
  20. Perform additional duties as assigned.
