Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator

Responsibilities & Scope
- Manage onboarding of new hires, maintain employee records, and process status changes.
- Reconcile and validate data entry into HRIS, ensuring data integrity and supporting routine reporting.
- Propose and implement personnel policies and procedures.
- Handle disability claims, FMLA, and Workers Compensation processes.
- Administer employee benefits including health insurance, PTO, and perks.
- Oversee performance management practices and assessments.
- Establish and maintain regular employee communications.
- Perform general HR administration and coordination.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field, with coursework in business, accounting, HR management, psychology, or industrial relations.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Human Resources Coordinator or Specialist.
- Professional in Human Resources Certification preferred.
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
- Experience in planning and administering HR programs or initiatives.
- Employee relations experience is a plus.
- Strong self-awareness and emotional intelligence.
- Effective communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment while managing multiple priorities.
