Job description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our Human Resources team on a contract basis. This individual will play a key role in supporting daily HR operations, with a focus on employee onboarding, HRIS administration, and employee relations support. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable handling sensitive information, and able to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Onboarding Employees:
  • Coordinate and facilitate the new hire onboarding process, including background checks, paperwork, systems setup, and orientation scheduling.
  • Employee Relations Support:
  • Assist the HR Director with employee relations matters, including documentation, scheduling meetings, and tracking follow-ups.
  • HRIS Administration:
  • Maintain and update employee data in the HRIS system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • General HR Support:
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team on various projects and day-to-day tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in an HR support or coordinator role
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms
  • Knowledge of basic employment laws and HR practices
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Experience supporting onboarding or employee relations is highly preferred
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
