Job summary

Big Sky Resort is seeking an entry-level Human Resources Coordinator to support payroll, benefits, HR records, recruiting, training, and housing. You will collaborate with Payroll, Housing, and Recruiting Managers to keep daily HR operations running smoothly and provide excellent service to team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with HR systems (RTP, SMS, iCIMS, StarRez) is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Understand resort operations and local community to answer employee questions.
• Collaborate with HR team and managers on projects, audits, presentations, newsletters.
• Accurately complete data entry for personnel files throughout employment process.
• Maintain and organize HR office, including mail, supplies, and admin tasks.
• Ensure HR compliance under guidance of Director and managers.
• Handle confidential information with discretion.
• Be knowledgeable about Big Sky Resort handbook, policies, and procedures.
• Provide support to Payroll, Housing, and other HR functions as needed.

The Coordinator will work closely with the Recruiting, Payroll, and Housing Managers to ensure smooth daily HR operations, all while contributing to a positive team member experience.
Responsibilities

• Understand the resort’s operations and the local community to effectively answer employee questions.
• Collaborate with the Human Resources team and other managers on projects, audits, presentations, and newsletters.
• Accurately complete data entry for personnel files and documents throughout the employment process.
• Maintain and organize the Human Resources office, including managing mail, office supplies, and administrative tasks.
• Ensure HR compliance under the guidance of the Director and other managers.
• Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
• Be knowledgeable about the Big Sky Resort handbook, policies, and procedures to address inquiries.
• Provide support to Payroll, Housing, and other HR functions as needed.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive, Dropbox, and other office software.
