Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a Human Resources internship position in Tukwila, WA. Under supervision, you will support the HR team across a range of tasks from basic to challenging, with opportunities for onboarding, offboarding, and training activities.

You will help maintain records in ADP and Workday, address employee inquiries, and collaborate with the team while demonstrating initiative and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

  • Student must be enrolled in an accredited university/college (not online).
  • Must have completed freshman year and be currently enrolled as a full-time student (not graduated).
  • Pursuing a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a Human Resources program.
  • Experience with Workday and ADP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide all-encompassing HR administrative support to the extended HR team.
  • Assist onboarding, offboarding, exit interviews, and training for employees.
  • Maintain employee records in ADP and Workday.
  • Address employee inquiries effectively and efficiently.

Job description

Under general supervision, performs tasks to support FTI's Human Resources Department. The type of work will vary depending on the level of expertise of the incumbent, but it will include a variety of tasks from very basic to challenging. This is a temporary/internship position reserved for college/university level students with a desire for a career path in Human Resources.

Essential Functions

Support the extended HR Team in various tasks by providing an all-encompassing HR administrative support.

When necessary, support core processes such as onboarding, offboarding, exit interviews, and training for employees.

Maintenance of employees and company records in ADP and WORKDAY.

Ensure all employee issues/queries are dealt with effectively and efficiently.

Other duties as required.

Highly motivated and action oriented, with demonstrated ability to effectively organize tasks, manage time, set priorities, and meet deadlines.

Energetic self-starter who proactively takes initiative, remains curious, and has a genuine interest in learning and growth.

Education and Experience
  • Student must be enrolled in an accredited university/college (not on-line university).
  • Student must have successfully completed their freshman year prior to Co-Op and must be currently enrolled as a full-time student (not graduated).
  • Student must be pursuing a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a Human Resources Programs (A business degree qualifies)
  • Experience with Workday and ADP systems preferred

Salary and Benefits
  • Pay range: $25.00 to $27.00 US Dollar (USD) hourly based on a variety of factors.
  • Employees will receive 0 hours paid time off every year.
  • Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays.
  • Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance.
  • Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.
