Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Assist recruiters with full-cycle recruitment activities for various roles.
  • Source candidates via LinkedIn, job boards, partnerships, referrals, and other channels.
  • Review resumes to identify qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate interviews and maintain candidate communications.
  • Support ATS data entry and reporting.
  • Participate in candidate phone screens and assessments.
  • Help develop talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
  • Post job ads on internal and external platforms and support campus recruiting.

Job description

The Talent Acquisition Co-Op will support the Talent Acquisition team in attracting, identifying, and hiring top talent across the organization. This role offers hands‑on experience in full-cycle recruiting, candidate sourcing, employer branding, and talent pipeline development. The co‑op will partner with recruiters and hiring managers to help deliver an exceptional candidate experience while learning best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist recruiters with full-cycle recruitment activities for hourly, salaried, internship, and professional positions.
  • Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, university partnerships, employee referrals, and other recruiting channels.
  • Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate candidate interviews and maintain communication throughout the hiring process.
  • Support candidate tracking and reporting within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Participate in candidate phone screens and preliminary assessments.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
  • Help prepare and post job advertisements on internal and external platforms.
  • Support campus recruiting initiatives, career fairs, and university relations activities.
  • Assist recruiters with candidate scheduling, offer preparation, and pre‑employment activities.
  • Create recruiting metrics reports and analyze talent acquisition data.
  • Contribute to employer branding initiatives and recruitment marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain confidentiality of candidate information and recruiting records.
Qualifications
Required
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
Preferred
  • Previous internship, co‑op, leadership, campus organization, or customer service experience.
  • Interest in recruiting, talent acquisition, or workforce planning.
  • Experience using LinkedIn, recruiting platforms, or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
