Job summary

Hilton Grand Vacations is seeking an HR Business Partner Generalist to provide hands-on HR support and strategic partnership to business leaders. This role is ideal for an HR Generalist or emerging HR Business Partner with experience in employee relations, performance management, leader coaching, talent management, and Team Member engagement.

To fulfill this role successfully, minimum qualifications include a BA/BS or 3+ years of experience, 1–3 years related, 2+ years in a union environment,

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or 3+ years of relevant experience may be considered in place of the education requirement.
• 1–3 years of related HR experience.
• 2+ years of HR experience in a union environment.
• Travel less than 10% as part of the role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; able to learn new technology.

• Advise and coach managers on employee relations, performance, workplace concerns, and Team Member development.
• Guide leaders through corrective actions, conflict resolution, and difficult conversations.
• Conduct employee relations intake, assess concerns, document findings, and recommend next steps.

• Use HR data and trends to support people-related decisions.
• Partner with HR leadership on engagement, retention, organizational change, and HR initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

• BA/BS/Bachelor’s Degree or 3+ years of relevant experience may be considered in place of the education requirement.
• 1 - 3 years of related experience
• 2+ years of experience working in a union environment
• Less than 10% travel
• Ability to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to demonstrate advanced proficiency in computer skills including applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint with the ability to learn and adapt to new technology and platforms.
• Expertise in managing complex employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and coaching managers through difficult situations.
• Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate needs and demonstrate good judgement and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR
• 3 – 5 years of related experience
• 2+ years of HR experience in a unionized environment
• HR experience in a unionized hotel environment
