Legacy Executive Search is seeking an accomplished HR leader with 5+ years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing environment. The candidate will partner with leadership to shape talent strategy, recruiting, retention and succession planning while ensuring compliance and best practices across payroll, benefits, and HR programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business or related field is required.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • SHRM or HRCI Professional Certification are highly desired.
  • Articulate verbal and written communication skills with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Manage organization and competing priorities independently in a hands-on environment.
  • Behaviors that model integrity and professionalism while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Strong working knowledge of HRIS, Payroll and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Champions and exemplifies the organization’s culture-first mindset, and Core Values
  • Direct partnership with leadership to influence and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to recruiting, retention, and succession planning
  • Manages the talent acquisition process, understanding skills and competencies required to recruit, interview, and hire qualified candidates, particularly for skilled trade positions and professional roles
  • Administers new hire and cross training programs.
  • Provides support and guidance to Leadership Staff when complex or sensitive issues arise such as reasonable accommodations, investigating complaints, disciplinary actions, and terminations
  • Recommends professional development opportunities for management, and leaders.
  • Evaluate compensation and benefits trends to ensure competitive and effective programs
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local laws and recommends best practices
  • Owns payroll administration of data changes, accuracy, deductions, reporting and issue resolution
  • Creates and enforces HR policies and procedures to maintain consistency and compliance

Job description

The ideal candidate will bring at least five years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing environment and demonstrate a history of growing an organization through recruiting, retaining, and developing a skilled labor workforce and management team.   • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business or related field is required
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience within a manufacturing environment
