Capitol Bridge Puerto Rico is seeking an On-Site Human Resources Business Partner to join our HR team in Isabela, Puerto Rico. You will support employee relations, performance management, and talent management across client groups to align HR strategies with business goals.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, 2+ years HR experience (HRBP preferred), and strong knowledge of PR labor law. Proficiency in English and Spanish is essential; SHRM credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in HR or related field.
  • Minimum of two years of HR experience, preferably as an HRBP.
  • SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP/PHR/SPHR a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

  • Act as point of contact for employee relations issues and promote a positive work environment.
  • Guide managers on performance management processes including coaching, feedback, and disciplinary actions.
  • Partner with hiring managers on workforce planning, onboarding, and career development.
  • Ensure adherence to HR policies and legal requirements, conducting periodic audits.
  • Support organizational change management and communications during mergers or restructures.
  • Facilitate training sessions and development programs for employees and managers.
  • Analyze and report on HR metrics, providing insights to improve HR practices.
  • Assist in policy development and ensure fair application across the organization.
  • Lead HR projects such as engagement initiatives and diversity programs.

The HRBP will provide comprehensive HR support to our client groups, collaborating with managers and employees to align business objectives with HR strategies. This role will require a deep understanding of HR practices, employee relations, and organizational development within a fast-paced environment.Location: On-Site –Isabela, Puerto RicoPay and Benefits:Compensation: $50,000 y/rHealth Insurance - medical, dental, vision & pharmacy benefits. Provide insights and recommendations to improve HR practices and policies.Policy Implementation: Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Ensure consistent and fair application across the organization.Project Management: Lead and contribute to HR projects, such as employee engagement initiatives, benefits reviews, and diversity, equity, and inclusion programs.Perform other duties as assigned.Required QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.Experience: Minimum of two years of HR experience, preferably as an HRBP.Certifications: SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification are a plus, not required.Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices in Puerto Rico.Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion is a must .Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.
