Capitol Bridge Puerto Rico is seeking a proactive On-Site Human Resources Business Partner to join our HR team in Isabela, Puerto Rico. The HRBP will provide comprehensive HR support to client groups, collaborating with managers and employees to align business objectives with HR strategies.
Responsibilities include employee relations, performance management, talent management, compliance, change management, training, and HR metrics. This is a full-time, on-site role with competitive benefits.

Job Responsibilities
Employee Relations:Act as a point of contact for employee relations issues, working to resolvework basedrelated conflicts and promote a positive work environment.
Performance Management:Guidemanagers on performance management processes, including coaching, feedback, and disciplinary actions. Drive performance improvement plans as needed.
Talent Management:Partner with hiring managers and the recruitment team to support workforce planning, onboarding, and the development of career paths for employees. Conduct oracquirebackground checks and employee eligibility verifications.
HR Compliance:Ensure adherence to company policies and legal requirements, providing guidance on HR-related compliance matters.Conduct periodic audits to verify compliance with HR practices and regulations. PR Labor Law knowledge and practice forstate requirements.
Change Management:Support organizational changes, mergers, and restructures by implementing effective change management strategies and communication plans.
Training & Development:Facilitatetraining sessions and workshops to enhance employee and management skills in areas such as leadership, conflict resolution, and HR compliance. Implement new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
HR Metrics & Reporting:Analyze and report on HR metrics, such as turnover rates, employee engagement, and retention. Provide insights and recommendations to improve HR practices and policies.
Policy Implementation:Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.Ensure consistent and fair application across the organization.
Project Management:Lead and contribute to HR projects, such as employee engagement initiatives, benefits reviews, and diversity, equity, and inclusion programs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Education:Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience: Minimum of two years of HR experience, preferably as an HRBP.
Certifications: SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certificationare a plus, notrequired.
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practicesin Puerto Rico.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Abilityto handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion isamust.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Proficiencywith or the ability to quicklylearnthe organization’s HRIS and talent management systems. (Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.)
Working Conditions:
Availability to work full-time M-F and some weekends, if necessary.
Schedule: 8:30a.m.-5:30p.m. (depending on business needs)
This is a fully on-site role, reporting to Isabela, Puerto Rico.
