Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of international employment laws and HR compliance.
  • Extensive employee relations experience with sensitive and complex situations.
  • Experience supporting organizations with 300+ employees in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Global HR Strategy | International Employee Relations | High-Visibility Business Partner

Play a key role in supporting a growing international workforce across multiple regions. We're seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to serve as a strategic advisor to leaders across global operations, helping drive workforce initiatives, employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, and HR compliance.

San Diego, CA (Torrey Pines) - Full-Time Onsite
What You’ll Do
  • Serve as the primary HR Business Partner supporting international operations across India, Japan, and Canada
  • Partner with leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives and workforce plans
  • Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, and organizational development
  • Lead complex employee relations matters, investigations, and conflict resolution activities
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and programs that meet both local employment requirements and corporate standards
  • Ensure compliance with international employment laws and labor regulations
  • Collaborate with HR, Legal, and business leaders to support globally aligned initiatives
  • Analyze compensation, benefits, and workforce data to provide actionable recommendations
  • Drive talent management, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness initiatives
  • Utilize HR metrics and analytics to identify trends, mitigate risks, and support business decisions

What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience
  • Significant experience supporting international employees and operations
  • Experience developing and implementing HR policies across multiple countries, particularly India, Japan, and Canada
  • Strong knowledge of international employment laws and HR compliance requirements
  • Extensive employee relations experience with the ability to independently manage sensitive and complex situations
  • Experience supporting organizations with 300+ employees in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills with experience evaluating workforce, compensation, and benefits data
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work onsite in San Diego
Preferred Qualifications
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or similar HR certification
  • Experience within aerospace, defense, technology, manufacturing, or other regulated industries
  • Knowledge of Canadian employment law and broader international labor practices
  • Experience supporting global mobility programs and international workforce initiatives
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems, analytics, and reporting tools
  • Experience leading workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development efforts across global teams
Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of San Diego, CA.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $140000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
