Food Management Search, Inc. is seeking an on-site HR Business Partner for a consumer goods manufacturer in the Pittsburgh region (Oakmont, PA). You will partner with plant management and serve as the go-to HR resource for about 80 employees.

This role focuses on employee relations, coaching, recruiting, onboarding, and ensuring compliance with employment law. The long-term plan envisions expansion to oversee HR across additional sites.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years in HR within manufacturing or warehousing.
• Union environment experience preferred; strong candidates without it who show they can pick it up will be considered.
• Able to handle sensitive employee matters independently and judge when escalation is warranted.
• Local to Oakmont; relocation is not offered.
• HRIS experience a plus, especially helping with an implementation.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the single point of HR contact for a plant of roughly 80 employees.

Overview

A multi-site consumer goods manufacturer needs an on-site HR lead for one of its smaller plants in the Pittsburgh region. The parent organization runs several facilities across the country, and this person would be the go-to HR resource at this location, partnering with plant management and spending real time with hourly and salaried staff.

The company sees this as a stepping stone. The long‑term plan is for this role to grow into HR oversight across more than one site.

What the Job Involves
