Job summary

Gen II Fund Services, LLC in New York, NY, is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to align HR programs with client needs across the employee lifecycle. You will serve as first point of contact for employee questions, manage daily HR operations, advise leaders on performance management and compensation planning, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

This role requires 4+ years in HRBP, a Bachelor's degree, and proficiency with UKG UltiPro and Monday.com; a hybrid

Qualifications

  • 4+ years’ experience as a HR Business partner in a professional services environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or similar degree.
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws; PHR/SPHR and/or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Establish understanding of client groups and fund administration to build relationships.
  • Serve as initial contact for employee and manager questions and inquiries.
  • Manage daily HR operations across the employee lifecycle.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations issues including investigations.
  • Guide leaders on performance management, appraisal, goals, and compensation planning.
  • Ensure actions comply with federal, state, and local laws to minimize risks.
  • Conduct onboarding and offboarding, including orientation and exit interviews.
  • Review SOPs with leadership and support engagement and staff wellness.
  • Partner with People and Impact teams in Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, and Engagement.
  • Develop People Analytics on various projects and initiatives.

Job description

Primary Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Establishing and maintaining a solid understanding of client groups and the fund administration business, in the interest of building effective working relationships with all levels of the organization
  • Serving as the initial point of contact for employee and manager questions and inquiries
  • Managing daily HR operations for assigned client groups across the employee lifecycle
  • Providing support and guidance on employee relations issues including investigations
  • Guiding leaders on all aspects of performance management, including the annual performance appraisal, goal setting and compensation planning processes
  • Keeping up to date and current knowledge on federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations to ensure actions recommended are in compliance to minimize legal risks to the Company
  • Conducting onboarding and offboarding activities including new hire orientation and exit interviews
  • Reviewing and documenting standard operating processes in conjunction with leadership
  • Supporting employee engagement and staff wellness initiatives
  • Partnering with cross-functional People and Impact Team members in Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Employee Engagement and
  • People Analytics on a wide array of projects and initiatives
Job Requirements, Skills, Education and Experience:
  • 4+ years’ experience as a HR Business partner in a professional services environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or similar degree
  • Strong background in employee relations
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to recognize and shift priorities proactively as needed
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to analyze and communicate data gathered
  • Problem-solving skills

  • Knowledge of UKG/ UltiPro and Monday.com
  • Solid Microsoft Office application knowledge, especially Excel

The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $140,000, in addition to a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits package. Please note that the actual salary offered within that range will depend on the candidate’s experience level.

Work Arrangement:

All applicants applying to Gen II Fund Services, LLC must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Please note that all US employees are required to work a hybrid schedule, comprised of three (3) days a week in our office and two (2) days remotely.
