Position Summary

This 30-40 hour per week position includes benefits and offers an opportunity to support our clients in several key functional areas of HR. Among these areas are: payroll processing, recruiting projects, consulting projects (reports, assessment, workshop development, etc.) and some administrative tasks such as database updates. Each day will be a little different. Occasional onsite work throughout Michigan may be required. Activities could include:

Recruiting activities, such as sourcing and reviewing talent, scheduling interviews, etc.
Manage communication and relationships with candidates.
Support various HR consulting projects as assigned.
Managing and maintaining sensitive data.
Support overall recruiting goals and processes.
Process payroll
Create HR templates
Administrative duties as assigned, such as data management.

This position pays $20-22 per hour depending on qualifications. Your schedule can range from 30-40 hours per week depending on your preference.

About You:

Interest in becoming an expert in payroll.
Some exposure or experience in HR
Some education with HR-focused coursework. Bachelor's degree in HR or related field preferred but not required.
Able to occasionally travel be onsite with clients
Able to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
Comfortable with learning new technology and software systems
