WORK MODEL: This position is based out of our Madison, WI headquarters and allows remote flexibility 2 days per week.
The Human Resources Associate will play a key role in the centralized HR team, supporting functions such as onboarding, employee engagement, learning, internal communications, and events. Focused on delivering an exceptional employee experience, this role involves executing and owning a variety of tasks and projects, offering broad exposure to the full employment lifecycle.
CORE OBJECTIVES
  • Orientation and Onboarding Coordination and Delivery: Coordinate all aspects of the pre-boarding and onboarding process, working in close partnership with managers and internal teams, to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for all new employees.
  • Training Calendar and System Administration: Oversee maintenance of the training calendar, track progress and completion, and generate reports within the company's LMS (Learning Management System).
  • Event Support: Support the planning and execution of employee events and celebrations, in partnership with external venues and internal teams, by managing all aspects to ensure each event runs smoothly.
  • Internal Communication: Maintain the cadence of HR communications on the company intranet (HUB) and through targeted company emails, keeping employees informed with timely, clear, and engaging updates across a variety of HR and employee focused topics.
  • Corporate Culture & Employee Experience: Coordinate and manage opportunities for employee and workplace recognition and celebrations (i.e. birthdays, anniversaries, etc.), serve as a leader and or key member of employee committees that support company culture (Wellness, Fun, etc.), and support company sponsored philanthropy efforts such as the annual United Way Campaign.
  • Broad HR Support: Assist with HR projects and initiatives, assist in maintenance of HR systems, respond to employee inquiries, and provide administrative support as needed across a variety of areas within the HR team and overall Company.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Completed post-secondary degree, with a focus on business, management, human resources, or related field of study
  • Previous work experience within a professional services industry, related to Human Resources a plus
  • Strong technology skills and ability to pick up on new systems and applications quickly
  • Demonstrated success in being resourceful and a proven problem solver
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and demonstrated organizational skills
  • Basic knowledge of overall Human Resources functions (preferred); OR, a genuine interest in focusing on human resources as a career track
