Riverside Community College District is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to provide administrative support, including recruitment and compliance documentation. The successful candidate will assist with onboarding, maintain accurate personnel files, and provide customer service to employees and applicants.
This temporary role offers $28.00 per hour, up to 160 days per fiscal year, with a focus on promoting diversity and equity within the team.
Position Summary
Under the general supervision of an assigned administrator, the assistant provides confidential and administrative, technical, and customer service support to the Office of Human Resources and Employee Relations (HRER). Duties include recruitment, onboarding, compliance documentation, and general HRER operations in accordance with California Education Code, Title 5 regulations, collective bargaining agreements, and district policies.
Type: Temporary, hourly as needed; up to 160 days per fiscal year.
Salary: $28.00 per hour.
Work Hours: 8‑hour days, 40 hours per week; overtime eligible for hours worked beyond 40 per week.
Effective Date: August 2026.
Health and welfare benefit package for employees and eligible dependents; pro‑rata for part‑time employees. Benefits include 13 observed holidays, vacation accrual based on tenure, and sick leave at one day per month of service.
