U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Irving, TX is seeking a clerical HR support role within the Office of Human Capital.
The position requires handling HR records, responding to customer inquiries via multiple channels, and maintaining organized data files under supervision. Applicants should have the equivalent of a 4-year post-high school education and demonstrate basic HR record handling skills, with typing speed of at least 40 WPM.
This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Office of Human Capital, Human Resources Operations Center, in Irving, Texas.
This is a non-bargaining unit position.

Must possess one of the following:
Successful completion of 4 years of education above the high school level in any field for which high school graduation or the equivalent is the normal prerequisite. This education must have been obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university. One year of full-time academic study is defined as 30 semester hours, 45 quarter hours, or the equivalent in a college or university, or at least 20 hours of classroom instruction per week for approximately 36 weeks in a business, secretarial, or technical school.
A combination of successfully completed post-high school education and specialized experience may be used to meet the total qualification requirements for the GS-05 position. This will be calculated using your resume and unofficial transcripts or a list of courses/course hours submitted with your application. Please note: only education in excess of the first 60 semester hours (i.e., beyond the second year) is creditable toward meeting the specialized experience requirement. One full academic year of study (30 semester hours) beyond the second year is equivalent to 6 months of specialized experience.
One (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-05 grade level or equivalent performing 2 out of 4 of the following duties:
