Job Summary:

As an HR professional, you will be involved in various aspects of our HR function, including recruitment, onboarding and employee relations. You will have the opportunity to partner with our team to create a thriving and engaging work environment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Maintains employee records, ensuring completion and accuracy of details, filing documents into appropriate employee files (soft and hard copy).
  • Maintains accurate records of active job openings and received applications; manages internal and external job postings.
  • Perform customer service functions by answering basic questions from employees.
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
  • Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
  • Provides clerical support to the HR department.
  • Assist with recruiting, interview, and onboarding process. Track status of candidates in HRIS and respond with follow up letters.
  • Conducts new hire orientation.
  • Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings etc.
  • Conducts or assists with record audits and mandatory reports, which may include I-9 audits, EEO-1 filings, payroll audits, and other compliance reviews.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to details.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related Sofware.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications.


Education and Experience:

  • Associate’s degree in related field required.
  • 3 - 4 years of Human Resources experience.
  • SHRM – CP credential preferred.


Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
