Lallie Kemp Regional Medical Center is seeking a Human Resources Analyst to join our HR Department. The role involves managing payroll programs, FMLA, and open enrollment processes for employee benefits.

The ideal candidate may have HR experience or a bachelor’s degree, with substitution options for college hours. Salary varies by qualifications, with weekend/holiday premium pay eligibility. Location is the Human Resources Department on site in Southeast Louisiana.

Qualifications

• Three years of HR experience, or six years in any field, or a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience substitution: 30 semester hours equals one year of experience; max substitution 120 semester hours (4 years).
• Payroll/benefits administration exposure is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and control programs involving Classified Payroll, FMLA, Garnishment Processing and Reporting.
• Coordinate annual Open Enrollment of benefits and liaise between employee plan members and payroll vendors.
• Enter all payroll data into the PeopleSoft HR System accurately and complete by payroll deadline.
• Collaborate with QA regarding Worker's Compensation.
• In the absence of HR co-worker, assume all HR program responsibilities including Benefits, Invoices reconciliation, Worker's Compensation and payroll functions.

Lallie Kemp Regional Medical Center is a 24-bed acute care critical access hospital serving the Florida Parishes region of Southeast Louisiana. We offer a wide range of services including general surgery and a 24-hour emergency department. At Lallie Kemp Regional Medical Center, we are able to bring you a wide range of services close to home, provided by a network of board-certified physicians.

We're currently seeking a Human Resources Analyst to join our Human Resources Department.

Three years of human resources experience; OR
Six years of full-time experience in any field; OR
A bachelor’s degree.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties:

• Plan, organize, and control functions of programs involving Classified Payroll, Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Garnishment Processing and Reporting.
• Organize, plan, coordinate, and implement the annual Open Enrollment of benefits at the agency. Serves as liaison between employee plan members and payroll vendors.
• Enter all applicable payroll data into the PeopleSoft HR System accurately and complete by payroll deadline.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Program regarding Worker's Compensation.
• In the absence of HR co-worker, assume responsibility for all functions of programs including ; Benefits, Reconciliation of Invoices , Worker's Compensation and all Payroll functions for the facility.

Work Location:Human Resources Department.

Shift:Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm

Compensation:Salary depends on qualifications. The minimum hire rate for the Human Resources Analyst A is $18.04 hourly. This position is also eligible for premium pay of .80/hour for weekend and holiday work.
