CMI Group – Systems 3 Division is seeking an HR Administrator for our Tempe, AZ site. This on-site, full-time role supports recruitment, onboarding, employee records, benefits basics, and compliance processes. The position requires U.S.

citizenship or permanent resident status and offers collaboration across HR leadership on policy adherence and employee inquiries. The role emphasizes onboarding/offboarding, background checks, performance cycle coordination, and maintaining confidential records

Qualifications

  • Requires Associate or Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business Admin or related field.
  • 1–3 years administrative experience; HR in manufacturing preferred.
  • U.S. Person per ITAR requirements (citizen or permanent resident).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and confidentiality skills.

Responsibilities

  • Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
  • Administers onboarding and offboarding, including orientation and exit interviews.
  • Screen applicants and schedule interviews.
  • Conducts or arranges background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
  • Participate in disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations under HR leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and ITAR policies.
  • Assist with performance review cycles and employee engagement programs.

HR Administrator for Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing FacilityLocation: Tempe - 1515 W 17th St, Tempe, AZ 85281 (On-site)Employment Type: Full-Time exempt, day shiftDue to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required.The HR Administrator provides administrative support across various human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records, basic benefits administration, and compliance.
