Premier Home Health Care Services, Inc. is a leading established Home Health Care Agency. We currently have an opportunity for a Human Resources Administrative Assistant in our New York.
The role of the Human Resources (HR) Administrator is to provide support in all areas of Human Resources Operations.
Qualifications:
Educational: Minimum High School Diploma (or equivalent). Some college preferred.
Work Experience:
a. A minimum of two years in an administrative role preferred.
b. Proficient in navigating and utilizing computerized systems and digital tools.
c. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
d. Ability to work well under pressure.
e. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
f. Familiarity with Payroll/HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now)
g. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
h. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
i. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
j. Two or more years of Human Resources experience
Additional Requirements: Bi-lingual — English/Spanish a plus but not required.
1. Communicate and administer HR policies and procedures, providing day-to-day guidance to branch management and staff on all HR issues.
2. Administrative support to HR Operations.
3. Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including new employee orientation and paperwork.
4. Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs, including data entry and maintenance of records for 401(k) plans, health insurance, and other benefits.
5. Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
6. Generate Union Reports (Arrow System).
a. Auto terms
c. Status Report
d. Create monthly reports of Employee Status for the Union.
7. Union Employee Benefits Communications.
a. Return to work letters for employees on LOA.
b. Non-eligibility letters for employees that comes over on the weekly 401K deferrals in error.
8.Participate in and assist with HR audit projects.
9. Participate with HR departmental projects.
10. Assist in the coordination of employee engagement initiatives, trainings, and company events.
11. Handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
12. Ensures all HIPPA requirements are adhered to.
13. Follows all Agency policies and procedures.
14. Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
