About the Role

As a Human Resources Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the Army’s personnel operations. This position requires enlistment in the U.S. Army or Army Reserve. You will assist fellow Soldiers in navigating their military careers, helping with promotions, training programs, and administrative support. This role also ensures that commanders receive accurate and timely personnel information essential to mission success.

You will be trained in document preparation, personnel records management, and the use of advanced software systems to maintain operational readiness and support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support on all human resources matters
  • Manage strength distribution and strength management actions
  • Support Soldier readiness, health, and welfare programs
  • Process postal and personnel accountability records
  • Maintain emergency notification and identification data

Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Age 17 to 34
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must meet Army tattoo and conduct guidelines
  • No major legal violations or disqualifying medical issues
  • Successful completion of:
  • 10 weeks of Basic Training
  • 9 weeks of Advanced Individual Training
