Job summary

Ohio Cat (A Division of Ohio Machinery Co.) in Broadview Heights, OH is seeking an Human Resources Intern to provide broad support to the HR team and assist with various HR initiatives.

You will handle tasks, assist with Epicor HRIS, and perform administrative duties while gaining exposure to HR processes in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in human resources or another related field.
• Must be detail-oriented, a self-starter, and have strong organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills required, both verbal and written.
• Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively as well as independently in a dynamic environment is required.
• Strong computer skills required including Microsoft applications and must be internet savvy.
• Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment and have strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work with confidential material is required.
• Must possess strong customer service and people skills.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Human Resources Intern will be responsible for providing broad support to the Human Resources department by assisting with various Human Resources responsibilities and initiatives.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
