Job summary

Conquer-the-Da in Texas is seeking a Spanish-speaking HR Generalist & Payroll Specialist for a hybrid role, combining HR operations with payroll processing to ensure accurate, timely payroll and compliant HR practices.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and 2+ years of HR/payroll experience, with bilingual Spanish capability and strong data privacy discipline. This position requires in-office presence with some travel as needed.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of employment laws and payroll regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Administer day-to-day HR operations including recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, benefits and employee relations.
  • Assisting managers with screening and interviewing potential candidates if needed
  • Writing job descriptions for newly created roles in English and Spanish
  • Maintain and update employee records in ADP systems.
  • Support performance management and employee development initiatives.
  • Assist in policy development and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Coordinate benefits administration and respond to employee inquiries.
  • Facilitate training sessions and support organizational development efforts.
  • Evaluating and resolving staff complaints and conflicts
  • Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee payroll inquiries.
  • Collaborate with Finance and HR teams to ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation.
  • Manage timekeeping systems and ensure proper tracking of hours, PTO, and leave.

Key Responsibilities:

Human Resources Generalist Duties:

  • Administer day-to-day HR operations including recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, benefits and employee relations.
  • Assisting managers with screening and interviewing potential candidates if needed
