Hill International Trucks is seeking an early-career HR professional at our East Liverpool, OH home office for a generalist role that expands knowledge beyond entry-level responsibilities. You will work on day-to-day HR support, onboarding processes, and benefit administration in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

This on-site position offers opportunities to handle HR inquiries, records management, and HR system audits while developing broad HR competencies within a privately owned,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or recent grads considered
• 1–3 years of human resources experience providing day-to-day HR support to employees and managers
• Assists with a broad range of HR functions, including benefits administration, onboarding and orientation, pre-employment testing, employee support, HR inquiries, recordkeeping, and HR system audits

Responsibilities

• Move beyond entry-level to a generalist HR role with increased knowledge and responsibilities
• Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and managers
• Assist with benefits administration, onboarding, pre-employment testing, and HR inquiries
• Maintain HR records and audits of HR systems
• Support employee relations and HR-related inquiries
• Contribute to process improvements and timely HR services

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with 1 hour lunch.

Physical/Work Enviroment

• Requires sitting for long periods.
• Requires performing accurate, knowledgeable, detailed work.
• Extensive computer work and professional administrative office setting.
• Use of hands for repetitive motion.
• Frequent telephone use.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (PREFERRED) but recent college grads considered OR
• 1–3 years of human resources experience providing day-to-day HR support to employees and managers.
• Assists with a broad range of HR functions, including benefits administration, new hire onboarding and orientation, pre-employment testing, employee support, HR inquiries, recordkeeping, and HR system audits.

• A solid foundation in human resources.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Sound judgment, and the ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Great attitude and aptitude for teamwork, collaboration, and a motivated self-starter are key parts of seeing success in this role.
