Job summary

GEODIS is hiring a Human Resource Generalist - Bilingual to administer HR programs and ensure compliance with regulations across the workforce. The role supports supervisors on employee relations, conducts onboarding, and documents engagement activities, partnering with HR leadership to resolve issues and drive HR initiatives.

The ideal candidate brings a bachelor’s degree, at least 2 years of HR experience, and bilingual Spanish skills to support a diverse team and a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university.
• Minimum 2 years related HR experience and/or training.
• Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Administers HR programs across all HR activities.
• Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and reporting regulations.
• Advise front line supervisors and managers on employee relations issues.
• Plan and conduct new employee orientations for effective onboarding.
• Facilitate and document employee engagement meetings.
• Partner with HR leadership to resolve critical issues.
• Lead supervisory and management training on HR topics.
• Respond to employee inquiries about policies and programs.
• Manage non-exempt and exempt recruiting through first-level supervisory roles, including job fairs.

Human Resource Generalist - Bilingual

The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for administering programs related to all phases of human resources activity.

Your role on the team:

• Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions
• Advises front line supervisors and managers on appropriate resolution of employee relations issues
• Plans and conducts new employee orientations to foster positive attitude toward company goals and an effective hand-off to operations
• Facilitates and documents employee engagements meetings
• Partners with HR leadership to ensure critical or recurring issues have a resolution plan
• Leads supervisory and management training specific to HR-related topics
• Responds to employee inquiries of moderate complexity regarding policies, procedures and programs
• Manages non-exempt recruiting activities and exempt recruiting through first level supervisory roles, including organizing and executing job fairs

What you need:

• Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 2 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Bilingual in Spanish
