Role Description

The Human Resource Generalist is a full-time, on-site role based in Seattle, WA. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations, including administering employee benefits, ensuring consistent application of HR policies, and assisting with HR programs and initiatives. The Human Resource Generalist will respond to employee inquiries, maintain accurate HR records, and support onboarding, orientation, and employee lifecycle processes. The role will also collaborate with managers on employee relations matters, help ensure compliance with employment laws and organizational guidelines, and contribute to HR process improvements and special projects.


Qualifications


  • Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with experience supporting generalist-level responsibilities.

  • Knowledge of HR Policies and procedures, including the ability to interpret and apply guidelines consistently.

  • Experience with Employee Benefits and Benefits Administration, including enrollment, changes, and employee communications.

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trust and collaborate across diverse teams.

  • Proficiency with HRIS or HR software, and solid skills in Microsoft Office or similar productivity tools.

  • Demonstrated attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Understanding of employment laws and regulations; prior experience in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations is a plus.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
