Job summary

Anchor Manufacturing Group, Inc. is seeking an HR Generalist to partner with employees and leadership, helping build programs, processes, and culture as we grow.

You will manage employee relations, recruitment, and safety programs while aligning HR initiatives with business goals. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field (or 2+ years of HR experience), strong communication skills, and a collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) required.
• 2+ years of progressive HR experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of HR practices and employment law (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO).
• Experience recruiting for entry-level and hourly roles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Partner with employees and managers on employee relations, performance management, and talent acquisition.
• Serve as liaison between employees and management, maintaining open and effective communication.
• Source and recruit talent at all levels to support organizational expansion.
• Administer safety policies and manage workers’ compensation claims from first report to resolution.
• Coordinate performance reviews and align individual goals with company objectives.
• Plan and execute monthly recognition programs.
• Track leave (FMLA, LOA, PTO) accurately and compliantly.
• Collaborate across departments to solve problems and support the business.
• Plan company events (annual picnic, holiday party, lunches, etc.).
• Help shape and improve HR processes as the company grows.

What You’ll Do:

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or at least 2 years of progressive HR experience
• Working knowledge of HR practices and employment law (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO)
• Experience recruiting for entry-level and hourly roles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple functions without sacrificing accuracy

Preferred:

• Manufacturing experience
• Experience managing workers’ compensation claims
• PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar certification
