Jericho Road Community Health Center is seeking a full-time Human Resource Generalist (HRG) to support recruitment across the employee lifecycle, lead new hire orientation, and contribute to employee wellbeing, engagement, and experience at the Barton/Breckenridge Campus. This role is onsite in Buffalo, NY with expected travel between locations, and it reports to the Human Resources Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and assess current organizational recruitment processes, then design and implement a recruitment strategy that is consistent, thorough, and aligned with JR objectives.
• Own improvement efforts across the full hiring lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer processes, and implement process changes with hiring managers.
• Optimize HRIS usage as it relates to recruitment and onboarding by serving as a subject matter expert in applicable modules, identifying opportunities for greater system utilization, and standardizing key workflow areas (employment applications, job postings, offer letters, onboarding documentation, and related materials).
• Formalize the organization’s new hire orientation program by championing NHO objectives, coordinating key stakeholders, and managing content, resources, and logistics.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, or a related degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of human resources experience; at least 2 years in a supervisory, management, or higher capacity is strongly preferred.
• Lifecycle recruitment experience, with a minimum of 2 years required.
• Employee orientation and onboarding experience, with a minimum of 2 years required.
• Process design and improvement experience; candidates should expect to complete a competency assessment focused on PI as the final step in the interviewing process.
• Experience implementing, managing, and assessing HRIS and its modules.
• Strong ability to present information and clearly describe HR processes and procedures to hiring managers and key stakeholders for recruitment and orientation.
• Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and confidentiality for all HR functions of JRCHC (Jericho Road Community Health Center).

Compensation and Location

Location: Buffalo, NY (onsite). Expected travel between locations.

Salary: USD $64,000 to $70,000 per year. Individual compensation is determined by factors including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other role-related components.
