Human Resource Generalist

Salary: $50,000 - $70,000 per year

Hours: Morning shift

Location: Akron, OH

PrideStaff is conducting a search for their Akron based Manufacturing client for an experienced Human Resource Generalist. The Human Resource Generalist will run the daily functions of the Human Resource department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.

An ideal Human Resource Generalist candidate for this position will be someone with strong attention to detail, highly confidential, and possesses a firm understanding of the HR profession. The HR Generalist must have a bachelor’s degree in HR or 1-2 years of HR or Recruiting specific experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full Cycle Recruitment

• Ongoing Employment Activities including

• HR Programs including current and new development

• Compliance including record keeping and reporting

• Offboarding Activities

• Event and Activity Support

• Administrative and Payroll support

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in HR preferred or 1-2 yrs. experience in HR or recruiting role is required

• PHR or SPHR certification is a plus

• Manufacturing experience is a plus

• HRIS experience preferred

• Microsoft Office Products expertise and excellent communications skills are required

• Excellent time management skills and the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities

• Strong team player with excellent problem solving and decision-making skills

• Goal oriented self-driver with strong work ethic

• Great attitude and a willingness to learn and be a leader for change and engagement

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $50,000.00 - $70,000.00
