The HR Director will work closely with facility leadership and staff to support recruitment, employee relations, compliance, performance management, training, and overall employee engagement.
Partner with facility leadership to understand staffing, recruiting, retention, and workforce needs.
Plan, develop, and implement HR policies, procedures, and training programs.
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, investigations, performance management, recognition, safety, and employee development.
Identify staffing needs and develop effective recruiting and retention strategies.
Manage and support the facility’s HR staff and provide guidance on HR processes and best practices.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Address employee relations concerns and conduct investigations as appropriate.
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR documentation is completed and maintained properly.
Support performance management and disciplinary processes in partnership with department leadership.
Coordinate employee training, orientation, professional development, and certification activities.
Stay current on HR trends, employment regulations, and best practices and communicate relevant updates to leadership.
Partner with corporate HR and facility leadership on HR initiatives and organizational goals.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of HR management experience required.
Previous skilled nursing, long-term care, or healthcare HR experience strongly preferred.
HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR practices, and employee relations.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS/talent management systems.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee matters professionally.
