Job summary

Pineville Rehabilitation and Living Center in Pineville, NC seeks an experienced Human Resources Director to lead HR operations, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compliance, training, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of progressive HR experience (Healthcare preferred), knowledge of employment laws, strong leadership, and discretion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience; healthcare or long-term care experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts for nursing and non-nursing staff.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Manage employee relations issues, investigations, and disciplinary procedures.
• Oversee benefits administration, payroll coordination, and leave management.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HRIS system.
• Support leadership with training, development, and succession planning.
• Foster a culture of inclusion, respect, and employee engagement.

Position Summary

The Human Resources Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR operations including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compliance, training and development, and benefits administration.
