Job summary

Morales Professional Services, in Edinburgh, IN, is seeking an HR Benefits Administrator to manage benefits programs for a high-volume, multi-site manufacturing company. You will be the resident expert for benefits, leave administration, policy compliance, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include coordinating open enrollment, benefit education, and vendor interactions, plus handling FMLA, ADA, workers' comp and other leave programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree with 5+ years of progressive HR work with a strong emphasis in benefits administration and compliance.
  • Strong understanding of HR laws and regulations; excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • PHR, SPHR, CEBS certifications preferred.

Job description

Morales Professional Services is currently seeking a strong HR Benefits Administrator, for a high volume, multi-site manufacturing company located in Edinburgh, IN. This role will be part of the Corporate HR Team and will serve as the resident expert for employee benefits, leave administration, policy compliance, and regulatory requirements.

Specific Responsibilities:
  • Administer employee benefit programs including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement plans, wellness programs, and voluntary benefits.
  • Coordinate annual open enrollment activities, employee communications, benefit education, and vendor interactions.
  • Manage FMLA, ADA accommodations, workers' compensation, parental leave, short-term disability, long-term disability, and other leave programs.
  • Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations and ensure HR practices remain current and effective.
  • Maintain employee handbook, HR policies, and procedures while ensuring consistent interpretation and application throughout the organization.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers regarding workplace concerns, policy interpretation, performance issues, and employee relations matters.
  • Assist with recruiting, onboarding, orientation, and new hire integration activities as needed.
  • Support performance review processes, employee development initiatives, and manager coaching efforts.
  • Serve as a key contact for benefits brokers, insurance providers, retirement plan administrators, and other HR vendors.
  • Prepare HR metrics, compliance reports, benefit filings, audits, and employment-related documentation.
  • Maintain employee data integrity and ensure accurate benefits, payroll, and HR system information.
  • Assist in developing and delivering training related to benefits, policies, compliance, and other HR initiatives.
  • Respond to employee questions regarding benefits, policies, leave programs, and general HR matters.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, employee programs, and compliance procedures.
  • Work closely with Payroll, Finance, Operations, and leadership teams to support organizational objectives and employee needs.
Requirements:

Bachelors degree with at least 5+ years of progressive HR work with a strong emphasis in benefits administration and compliance. Solid understanding of HR laws and regulations with excellent organizational and communication skills. PHR, SPHR. CEBS certs preferred.
