HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT/MEMBER SUPPORT SERVICES
POSITION SUMMARY:

Join FDLE’s Human Resource Management team and play a key role in supporting a fast‑paced environment. This position provides professional, confidential support that helps strengthen internal operations and enhance the experience of customers. We're looking for someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conducting all applicant fingerprints;
  • Running E-agent to check for active warrants for all applicants being fingerprinted;
  • Conducting all applicant credit checks;
  • Submitting all maintenance requests for the Bureau;
  • Working with the business office to order supplies and coordinate printer maintenance for the Bureau; and
  • Serving as back-up receptionist for HRM which is including but is not limited to: answering the telephone promptly, courteously and professionally; routing phone calls to the appropriate staff member; greeting and routing visitors; and opening and distributing the mail, and completing employment verifications.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office computer software and applications;
  • Knowledge of administrative principles and practices;
  • Ability to collect, evaluate and analyze data relating to administrative functions such as personnel and purchasing;
  • Ability to prepare correspondence and administrative reports;
  • Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures;
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments;
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; and
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.

BASE SALARY:
  • $ 42,200.08

BACKGROUND:

FDLE requires an extensive background process of all recommended applicants. The elements of a background include: financial credit check, criminal history of applicant and applicant’s immediate family or roommates, personal references, employment and education verifications (which includes official transcript(s)), drug screen and fingerprinting. This information will be utilized to make the final hiring decision.

NOTES:

Preference will be given to current FDLE members who have satisfactorily completed at least six months of the probationary period for their current position.
