  • Location: Minot Airfare Base Commissary
  • Shift: Full time, Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00am to 5:30pm

Company Overview: CW Resources, a part of CW Group, is a national non-profit organization that has been delivering mission-driven, high-quality services for more than 60 years. We are committed to fostering a supportive and respectful workplace where every employee is valued for their unique contributions. We’re proud to offer a wide range of services, from vocational rehabilitation programs to delivering healthy food options through the Meals on Wheels program. Our dedication to empowering individuals and strengthening communities drives everything we do, and we continue to work toward a brighter, more welcoming future for all.

What You’ll Do

In this hybrid role, the HR Assistant / Assistant Project Manager (APM) will wear two important hats: one as a recruiting and onboarding specialist, helping us hire and train exceptional employees—and the other as a hands-on support lead, stepping in to assist with shuttle driving, stocking, or warehouse tasks when needed.

HR Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Review applicants, screen candidates, schedule and conduct interviews, and facilitate hiring decisions in coordination with the Project Manager and HR Team.
  • Onboarding Coordination: Lead new hire onboarding sessions, process new hire paperwork, ensure proper documentation, and facilitate initial training.
  • Training and Employee Development: Deliver periodic refresher training or skills workshops to current staff; support continuous learning and compliance.
  • Workforce Support: Be a consistent presence and resource for employees—supporting morale, addressing questions, and helping resolve concerns.

Assistant Project Manager Responsibilities (As Needed)

  • Team & Shift Support: Assist with team coordination, shift planning, and performance oversight during stocking and warehouse operations.
  • Stocking Duties: Unload pallets, restock shelves, rotate products (FIFO), and maintain clean, organized work areas.
  • Shuttle Driving: Operate the company shuttle to transport employees to and from work in a safe and timely manner.

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–2 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or human resources, with a focus on candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Proficiency in full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and managing the hiring process from selection to onboarding.
  • Familiarity with recruiting software or HR management systems to streamline hiring workflows and maintain accurate records.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and other relevant software.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with teams and engaging professionally with candidates and staff.
  • Problem-solving mindset, able to quickly assess challenges and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in both office and warehouse environments, adapting to varying work settings and operational needs.
  • Valid driver’s license, with the ability to travel as needed for recruiting or operational support.

Why You'll Love This Job

  • You’ll be a part of a mission-driven team that values your hard work and helps you grow.
  • You’ll directly help create opportunities and positive experiences for people with disabilities and veterans.
  • You’ll get hands-on experience in both HR and operations—no two days are the same!
  • We celebrate effort and teamwork, with plenty of encouragement and recognition.
  • Access to an Employee Wellness Coordinator and robust wellness program that support your health and work-life balance.
  • Opportunities for advancement—grow your career with us!
